Hello all,

I'm struggling to find an evening class to learn Dutch in Haarlem. Most of them request you sign up as part of a group.

Any recommendations?

Hi - I have just signed up to classes (small group of 6 ladies) that starts in a week in amsterdam which you should be able to get to on public transport?

I am joining with my 2 daughters and as one is 12 many places don't accept under 18's. Here are two other places -

At 12 years of age, your gemeente should be able to advise you about Internationale Schakelklas for your daughter: nightschool shouldn't be necessary. Dutch education isn't like UK education, there are many types of education for all children according to their needs, regardless of peer-group-age. You will find children of all secondary ages in schakelklas, as they spend 4 days out of 5 in intensive Dutch-language classes (free of charge) for a year before moving to the relevant (VMBO/MAVO/HAVO/VWO) level of Dutch education.
