Default Broken laptop

Hi there
I have just started my new job and I have to bring my own laptop to work and it's completely broken. Something to do with the motherboard does anyone know anywhere in the Netherlands I can buy a good second hand laptop? Are there shops that sell refurbished technology?
Many thanks

Give me some details of the "problem" in a PM.
It's not always the motherboard unless you did something disastrous.

Whats your budget? New laptops are not that expensive any more, and if you need it for work, the specs are important.

Apple or PC?

Marktplaats.nl should have a range of business selling refurbished ones.

I too am intrigued with your comment,"Something to do with the motherboard". What makes you say that, liquid spillage?
Otherwise it could be something basic like a memory module that needs re-seating - usually an easy task. With a Mac, over 5 years it's generally declared vintage, and officially obsolete at 7, which means in both cases that the official stores won't want to know after-sales service, but these older laptops can often be easily repaired at home with very little know-how.
