OMG. That is EXACTLY how I felt on the trip back that tipped me over the edge into thinking I needed to move back.

i don't mean to pick you in particular, it's something i notice regularly and seems strange to me

Home when I'm in MA is the UK...when in FL home is MA....home is just an easy word to use when talking about England....

there is for me,
home is england where my friends & family live & everthing is familiar
home is also NZ where me, hubby & kids have chosen to make a new home.
in essence i feel its like when you move out of you parents house & into your own house, but when you go back to mothers for sunday dinner its all cosy & familair, but when you've had enough you go back to your own place & enjoy your own stuff.

I was a little in limbo over this for a while when I first moved.

heck, didn't realise this was still going
i guess i've learnt that some people have a sense of belonging to a place they call "home"
but still for me, it does come down to a very basic concept... home is where i live
