Hi, I've been fighting with virgin mobile USA for 2 days. I want them to unlock my iPhones so that I can use them with a sim plan in the U.K. Im going home on Sunday. I was under the impression that my phones would work with virgin media in the U.K. Virgin USA said they won't. Has anyone taken a locked iPhone to the uk and found a SIM card that works? Thanks

I couldn't get my iPhone unlocked in the UK. That was a few years ago...I thought the US had changed the law...so all phones sold after a certain date had to be unlocked if requested.

One of my phones is a year old and three reps said they'd unlock it. but when I got through to the technical support woman she refused because I'd only used it 10/12 months because I got a new one. It is so frustrating.
