We are all very disappointed that they couldn't fly, not criticsizing Virgin, they were absolutely correct, and the parents asked them for their assistance and opinion. We all just hope that he perks up soon and they can fly out later this week. Just such a shame.

Ugh, that sounds horrible, he should have known better.

Disappointed that you are all missing the real culprit. I blame the precious little snowflake. Well, maybe next time the parents will think twice before indulging this spoiled little monster.

I know. If he is sick they would probably have had an horrendous journey to the US...it's not as if it's just a couple of hours. He could have passed the bug onto people on the plane and once in the US to members of your family.

Friends right now are at LHR, ready for their flight out here, little boy thrown up in departures, probably due to travel sickness, and they wont let them fly!!
they have to travel back home (round trip of 300 miles) get a doctors certificate and "try again tomorrow"!!!

i kinda agree with VA. You keep hearing about the cruise liners that have to go into quarentine cos 1 passenger has spread a bug to 500.
I know if i got sick from a passenger on a plane i would be v v upset.
I would pay extra for tickets for an airline that doesnt let kids travel if they look like they may cry or be a pain in the arse!

"Canoe U" = boat = United States Naval Academy graduate. Mr Speaker (aka Tuberculosis Andy) is also a lawyer (albeit of the ambulance chasing sort instead of the useful immigration species). That he would knowingly expose others to a potentially deadly disease beggars belief, and I'm glad to see that some of those others are suing HIM.

One flight I was on had the 2 kids in front of me jumping up and down in their seats so much that they knocked my drink all over me. I tapped the Father on the head & asked him to control them but he just looked at me and rolled his eyes. I spoke to the stewardess and she moved me to sit in Business class..I have asked to be moved twice since then for disruptive rugrats...
Travelling with young children is stressful enough, as it is, without having fellow passengers tut-tutting in your ear all the time!
