does anyone know if there is a time limit fo arranging Royal Mail's letter redirect service once you have vacated your home address,

https://www.royalmail.com/personal/receiving-mail/redirection Initial redirect can go for 12 months then believe you can extend although nothing specific saying for how long

Usually you get an e mail or letter asking if you wish to carry on the redirection, have never done so, but it is there, and I'm also unsure just how many times you can extend.

I extended for 6 months after the first 12 months.(got email and extended online) Believe max is 24 months. worked well. all mail got here and everytime I got a mailout I just sent the company an email saying remove from mail list as no longer in UK and it worked a treat.
