Wait, PG? Where's the conspiracy? In both cases, the administration ordered decisive action. Just having some fun. You can stay and play.

Re: Tea Party
Well thanks to this thread, I now understand the tagging I just got.
Got a no-answer phone call from 5126461431 caller ID Ben Peden.
Google tells me it was an invite to a Tea Party!

Tea Party Robocalls Reported - Have You Recieved One?
As you may or may not know, the Right will be having a "tea party" 4.15 to protest the stimulus plans coming out of Washignton, DC. Here is a good article with videos and text about the Tea Party movement at the Huffington Post. Here is what looks like an official website for the TEA Party (Taxed Enough Already). Here is the Twitter Search Feed for #Teaparty.
Reports of Robocalls: There have been reports of robo calls going out from the following phone number:
* 5126461431 - Click here for the "who called us" report.
* Here is a Tweet from Denver about these robo calls as well.
Here is a list of reports I've found on the internet so far.
* The Democratic Underground - "Who is Funding TeaParty Robocalls?" Click here. (This post has several links to comments that mention receiving TeaParty robocalls.)
* The Daily Kos also has a bunch of reports. Click here.
ACTION REQUESTED:
If you get a TeaParty Robo, please let me know and please get the audio. So far there is no audio file available on the internet.

Re: Tea Party
On robo-calls. This outfit in Richmond VA, thought they were being sabotaged by Dems, someone was making robo-calls with the wrong time/date for the tea party. Turns out it was one of them who had the wrong information and was sending out the calls nationally.

Nope, they won't, I didn't add them. Follow the first link and scroll down the page to the entry. All linkies intact (and frothing!) there.
The Jonestown people were actual people and some of us had first-hand knowledge of them. Just sayin'.

See, I'm glad you stuck around. You bring wisdom. Sort of like an old Jedi master.

On robo-calls. Has anybody in their right mind ever been even minutely influenced by one?

And the origin of the "Don't drink the Kool-Aid" line, presumably?
