Shropshire UK
Hi All
My husband and I are in the early planning stages of a return to the UK, we are looking at potentially Shropshire for a move. Are there any NO-GO areas we should be wary of.
In an ideal world id like a small town with access to the bigger towns for work etc.
Thanks All

It was a 'new town' name given to several towns and was/is? a hub of development and concrete. It doesn't particularly have a good reputation.
HOWEVER, to anyone living successfully there,-my apologies. It is just not my choice that's all.
You might look at adjacent small towns/villages with access to Shrewsbury (some lovely cobbled streets-this was my local town)/Tudor buildings, or Oswestry, or close to Ludlow,-a smaller place, but beautiful with a strong foodie and performance culture.
I'm not a prolific poster here, so that will have to do!
Good luck!

I am moving to Brighton in the next few weeks. The opposite direction but my second choice was Ludlow. I love that town.
