Default Shipping down duvet and pillows

Wanting to do this! Seems like these items aren't restricted. That's good. However, I'm worried about excessive compression for the roughly six weeks they'd be packed, as we wouldn't have room to arrange them loosely. Sending a upak crate. Anyone have any experience with this? How best to protect them from moisture? Thank you!

I have stored down filled duvets in vacuum packs over the hot summer months with no loss of fluffiness after opening the packages. Vacuum parking is the best way to keep out moisture. Just pop in a tumble dryer with a softener sheet to fluff up.

....and a couple of tennis balls in the dryer!

I would also pack some of those silica gel packs with the duvet to absorb any moisture whilst being packed away for shipping.

Good to know vacuum packing can be done without adverse effect!

Good idea re silica gel! My husband is already planning to buy some. I'm sure it will help.

We are doing our best to pack carefully. Hope everything arrives free of damage.

My main job now is to convince my husband that just because something fits in the shipping crate, we don't have to take it!!
