I am moving to UK from USA (Seattle Area) and need your advice regarding this. I will be having around 3 Boxes mainly clothes and some baby toys , kitchen utensils etc. Could you suggest what should be the best method to ship these. I was exploring excess-baggage.com
Any other ideas or suggestions ?

Have you explored excess baggage with your airline directly? While most airlines will allow two free bags, they allow you to bring up to 8 bags for a fee. Often this fee is cheaper than a shipping service or reasonable enough to make it worthwhile.

When we did a relocation we found it was cheaper to buy some Walmart duffle bags, fill it full of gear and ship over as an extra bag rather than boxing something up and posting it to our new address.

Yes we just found out for our flight that we can take up to 10 extra bags for 85 dollars each. I hope this helps. Bags are still subject to weight limits.
