Default New Spouce application ?????

Hi

I was wondering if someone can help me with my query.

I want to apply for settlement visa for my husband, we have gone through the process before and were unsuccessful. As I was in and out of employment and it was denied. However I am now in full time work and have been working for about 10 months with a decent salary but I am contracting its not a permanent job.

When would be the best time to apply again? now or when It becomes a year? Would I have a better chance or will they take in to account our previous applications.?

If someone can advise that would be great.

Only six months is required. If your contract job is uncertain I would say that you can't apply too soon, so four months ago would have been preferable, and as of today, "ASAP" would be my advice.

As long as you have been earning £18,600 a year then just apply.

Thank you for the response, I am just a bit sceptical as it didn't pull through the last time, but I think will be applying properly this time round.

For clarification that should read earning an annual salary of £18,600 for at least six months.
