MS Shipping / CVinternationaal shipping
Hi all,
A thread on here recommended mandsusa.com for transporting my apartment belongings from the US to the UK.
I contacted their sales email, and got a reply from Peter at cvinternational.com
Is anyone here familiar with either company?
I have heard a few horror stories, so want to do some research before committing.
Thanks

M&S recently merged with CV, Peter is looking to retire in a couple of years I spoke with him the other day so it is not hearsay.I have used them for more than twenty years with no issues.

Important: horror stories were from people shipping international in general, NOT specific to this company. I have only heard good things about them in fact.
I will edit the original post shortly to make that clear

where are you shipping to/from? I'm interested in shipping a few items from the US to the UK but it's been an overwhelming process so far trying to get accurate quotes.

If there is no port near you it becomes expensive as it will be dropped off at one warehouse then taken to the loading location with a charge every time it is moved
.For example my closest port is Norfolk which does not offer LTL service so exports / imports have to be trucked to New Jersey or South Carolina.
