Default Is a full time (but 2 year contracted) job enough for my non EU spouse to get a visa?

Have been outside the UK for about 8 years now and have got married in that time. We are thinking of moving back and I have been offered a job on 25,000 a year. This takes me over the amount needed to be able to get my wife a spousal visa (as far as I know).

The issue is that it's on a 2 year contract. I am assuming the worst here in thinking that would exclude us from a spouse visa. Am I wrong?is full time but contracted enough?

Does anyone know where I can find a clear overview of the guideline?

Surely very few jobs are "guaranteed permanent" so the fact you currently have a two-year contract isn't an issue?

[You might ask the moderators to move this to the immigration forum as this is just the general UK forum]

This is gold, I do not meet income requirements but have savings in excess of the amount needed to meet full requirements.
I do n0t rely on dividends or interest as my brokerage account capitalizes gains well in excess of the income requirements, yet such gains are not considered as income

Dividends and interest usually are pretty predictable but capital gains are often very unpredictable. You could have had capital gains that doubled or more over the past 4 year roaring bull market but all that could possibly be lost in the next year or two but dividends will likely continue to be paid.
