Hi Guys
We are looking to fly our dog back to the Uk.

We have been quoted $4700 to do this.

I thought a little expansive.

Can anyone recommend or advise what they paid.

Our dog is a GSP 25kg so not huge dog.

That sounds reasonable. We flew ours in 2016. He only weighs 4kg (a small chihuahua) and cost $3000

We flew our 45kg golden retriever over at the end of 2015, from Perth to Liverpool. Our boy was a nervous traveller (cars and flying), so the vet came to our home twice to do the vaccinations and treatments, and the pre-flight check, and then came a third time at 2am to pick him up and take him to Perth airport. This is the original email about the quote:

Thank you for your enquiry via our website. I have attached a quote of $4130.00 for Murphy’s veterinary preparation and travel to Liverpool. The quote includes the required Rabies vaccination and parasite treatment, veterinary examination, a travel crate with bedding, transfer to Perth airport from the Pet Travel Clinic, Australian government fees, the flights to Manchester with Emirates, all clearances on arrival and delivery to your home in Liverpool. The quoted cost also includes a rest stop in Dubai which all pets travelling with Emirates are required to have.
