Car insurance in UK after living in Spain
We have returned to the UK after living in Spain for 14 years, and have done a trial run for car insurance
The Statement for no claims bonus was not accepted , meaning the quote will be more expensive
Has anyone else dealt with this and found insures who will accept proof of no claims bonus from Spain, in this case, Liberty Seguros.

My experience is from a Canadian perspective, but NFU did accept my Cdn documents. I provided them with my Cdn claims history and also my driving record which confirmed that my driving licence was clean. They took this into account when pricing my car insurance and I got a better rate than available online. I also had the added complication of driving on a foreign licence which they were fine with.
