The questions a bit vague? Anyone will insure you, surely the question is how much they want to charge you.

So what paperwork and what do they say is the problem.

NB most people use websites to insure cars, never talk to anyone, look at martins money saving website for advice on how to, but its based on using sites like moneysupermarket.

Please take a few minutes to have a read of the site rules, beige bar at the top, and should you have any site related problems please contact one of the moderators, names in bold at the bottom right of the forum page.

I suspect that your problem is with insurance companies not recognising NCB's from other countries, UK people often have the same problems when moving to another country, I'm afraid that you will just have to use Google and keep trying. In the end you may well have to bite the bullet and just pay the premium.

Google search and call them all. Some will accept your NCB but may not shout about it on their websites.

Aviva accepted my husband's NCB when he returned from 25 years in Australia. We needed to supply evidence of his NCB as well as a letter from our Oz insurer, stating that our policy had been cancelled.

ps try not to get too annoyed about little things like this, they're part and parcel of moving countries and if you get upset at every little thing you'll exhaust yourself!!

Keith Michaels insured us with discount for our overseas NCD from Australia. All I sent them was this years renewal, also had a 'certificate of policy schedule' on a email which showed our 60% NCD so emailed that to them as well. They accepted that and we were given a quote for insurance, half the price of others we tried who would NOT accept our overseas NCD.

Sometimes it is hard for people and institutions in the UK to understand that the world does not stop when you get to Dover or Holyhead !
