Default From Canada yms visa found out I’m pregnant

So I’m currently on a youth mobility visa in the uk (from Canada) and immm only a month into my 2 years. I’m married to a uk citizen and had paid the nation health surcharge for the 2 years. I found out I fell pregnant not long after we came back to the uk. What am I covered for, can I get in trouble? We plan to move to Canada when mines close to being done. We don't want to be separated.

You are eligible for the NHS while on your visa, so you should register with a GP and start maternity care.

You won't get into trouble, it is what it is.

You won't be able to get any public funds though to support yourself and child - that will be up to your husband.

Would the 'no children who live with you' criteria to obtain this visa remain a condition throughout the visa validity period?

Have always assumed that these conditions relate to someone applying for the visa who is single and has children.

Could be wrong though.

As this OP is already in the country, is married to a UK citizen I think she will be OK.

Whilst you are okay for the time being, if your plan is to remain in the UK, then it would be best if you were able to switch to a spouse visa as soon as possible.

I’m currently working, and he’s also working so public funds wouldn’t be needed, we plan to have me sponsor him for Canada . I don’t wanna switch to the spouse visa here because there’s a time wait to be able to sponsor him then

I’m pretty sure it’s different if you’ve already been granted the visa and weren’t or we’re not aware of a pregnancy at that point
