Default Can anyone answer import questions

Hi Everyone,

We are coming back to the UK for good after 5 years in Toronto on 7th June.

Shipping belongings we are doing a mixture of sea and air cargo.

My question(s) are regarding air cargo.

I'm sending 4 boxes Air Transat Cargo and was wondering what I do at the other end in Gatwick. What forms I have to fill in. Do I need a broker.

Also I have valuables coming with me in hand luggage. Do I have to fill out any custom forms.

Last question. Do I have to get anything stamped at immigration in the UK (I'm English and hold a UK passport) for goods to follow?

Thank you,
Richard

Hi, We are moving back June 6th and have just shipped boxes with Sevenseas by sea door to door customs cleared. They sent all the documents to us which included a UK customs declaration form C3 attached below which lists restricted item and items upon which duty is payable (note duty payable on personal possesions not owned for at least 6 months).
I would imagine whoever you have scheduled the shipment with will have listed what services they offer (door to door, customs cleared etc) or if you havent scheduled that take a look at the Sevenseas.com site
Hope this helps
