Black scorpion type of thing

Re: Black scorpion type of thing
I saw an eastern king snake last Tuesday, and a black snake last Wednesday, both are harmless to humans, but eat rodents, amphibians, and reptiles, including copperheads.

This thread has helped me solve a problem. A couple of years ago I found what looked like a small, flat, black spider or tick in the kitchen...but it had lobster type claws at the front. I put it in a container so I could get a better look at it. It kept lifting it's front claws up...like a crab or lobster. Anyway...yesterday I Googled and found out it was a Pseudoscorpion.

I don't mind snakes. They fall below the maximum permissible leg threshold.

Still, they will keep your population of carpet beetles down.

Carpet beetles *shudder*...thank goodness we don't have carpets or rugs.
