Arrived in Ireland
Well, after a very emotional and stressful last couple of weeks in South Africa, we have arrived in Ireland....
A bit of background on our departure from SA - A few days before we moved out of our house, we were robbed. The house was broken into whilst we were asleep and the thieves stole all our possessions which had not been shipped (everything we needed!). We then went to visit family before we left and my youngest was bitten by a parrot and developed Cellulitis!
Anyway, we finally got out and the arrival in Ireland was a pleasure. The immigration officer was extremely helpful. Hubby got a 3 month visa on arrival with no hassle.
Pleasure was shot-lived unfortunately. The agents in Navan keep putting us off so we are starting to think that they are not too keen on renting to non nationals (I am Scottish). Not quite sure where to go from here so if anyone has some insight as to what to do, it would be greatly appreciated.
