This article lists the most expensive, and also the lowest, school fees in Dubai. The top end ones are pricey indeed.
For people leave in the UAE due to the numbers no longer stacking up, it is largely school fees that are the final straw.

When I lived in the Greens it had a reputation as a bog-standard middling school of no notable repute. How'd it become so expensive (and more than JESS/DESC/DC?)
The article merely shows how Dubai is a story of multiple economies existing side by side. Western families griping about not affording 90k school fees leave, while non-Western families are happy with schools that cost less than 10k a year. Not a criticism, just an observation of the realities.

Only those non-westerners in the sub 15k salary band send their children to those 10k schools (all of which are Indian/Pakistani curriculum).
Hardly any Pakistani earning 20+ will opt for those schools ...
