Saudi Aramco Johns Hopkins Secretary Visa Query
Hi All
I had a video interview last month for a role at Johns Hopkins as a PA/Secretary which was organised by the Saudi Aramco Recruitment Agency in London where I am based. The lady at the recruitment agency has said the interview went well and she has received positive feedback however I have not received an offer. She said that Johns Hopkins are applying for block visas, and I did ask her how can they apply for my visa if they have not offered me the job? And she said they have done it the other way around i.e. apply for the visa first before sending an offer!
This doesn't sound right to me. Does anyone have any advice or input at all?

It is pretty much right, if the employer does not have a block visa they will find it tricky to get you in. We usually forecast 12 months in advance our requirements and apply for a block visa against the forecast. KSA and Visa's is a slow process, just the way it is.
