I am looking for cool and classy restaurants to visit on weekends and I would appreciate some recommendations .

I know about Paul and Chilli's , BFF and the Cafes on Al Shatti

any other places I can visit ?

The Trader Vics in the Intercon always used to be pretty good.

Is that funny "nightclub" at the Grand Hyatt still going? Had a few interesting evenings there.
