Omantel ADSL Blues

Omantel ADSL Blues
Went to Omantel branch in Qurm City Centre and applied for an ADSL connection. Very friendly and attentive staff there. They even sent their man earlier than promised, however he left when he found out there was no Omantel box in our building. What does this mean?
My guess is that our building owner is not in any way connected to the Omantel telephone system. Our dear PRO confirmed to me that the owner has sent several reminders to Omantel to this effect in the past.
What to do now? Any ideas? I don't want to fix the Nawras thingy which works on 4G/3G.

Do what the rest of the mortals do and get wi max, if you have a good signal

I am using the Omantel USB Stick thingy, and will switch to the WI MAX if our owner can't be ar****d to connect to the telephone system.
