29k seems a bit high for a paralegal. But that's just me. I have no idea what the going rates are.

Can you be more specific - 19k/month including housing allowance, does that mean you have to pay housing every month from your 19k, or is it 19k and they give you free housing?

It is very hard to give you advice since you haven't indicated what you make now. I wouldn't consider it unless it was, at minimum, netting (not grossing) you 30% more than what you make now, and preferably more around 40%, including any housing deductions.

To put in context if i take the 18K offer after rent i have nothing left its less than what I am on now.In the Uk which is close to 30Kper annum. I have asked for 29KQAR but would be ok to take 25KQAR per montb then when the husband gets a job we should be ok hopefullly what do you think good plan? Obviously wont be living it tup in the Pearl for sure 😣 maybe we can get a modest studio in west bay or even pearl i have looked on qatar living classified and found some landlords offering studios for 7500QAR a month all in. What i realy want to know is after rent how much should I have in my pocket to hire a car nothing fancy just a run around and live?

Absolutely, positively and completely do not take an inferior package to what you make in the UK.

Based on what you have written, I would reject this and hold out for the 29k. Don't be afraid to walk.

19k - while still needing to pay rent from that, and supporting your husband - will be tough.

Agreed dont know how long it would take him to get a job out there. I think 25K should be achievable they want to see my payslips too for proof of what I am earning now.

Are you saying 30 K GBP per annum or the equivalent of 30 K QR per month?

As:

30 K GBP is approx 140 K QR per annum (as above)

19 K x 12 = 228 k QR, so approx 49 K GBP.

Not sure how they relates to less than what you are earning in the UK.

Not sure about legal salaries, especially paralegals in relation to lawyers so can't comment. 30K QR per month seems high to me though.

What does he do? Degree educated?

I'd do my best to avoid giving anyone my payslips. It's not comparable.

Judging on the level of English used in this thread, I can't help thinking that you must be an awful paralegal.
