I came here single, Lucked out with a couple of brits in the 1st few weeks and now have a Girlfriend here. Its all about where you go and on what nights. The females are as bored as the males...............

You will be fine. Doha is a bit of an Expat retirement home and the majority of them get no further than the Rugby club for their entertainment, So don't see the 'New Doha'. New Doha has some good clubs and venue's and a young crowd, Its about going to the right places.

There are more and more ladies nights now mid week as to be fair 90% of the women stay in until thursday night owing to the fact they are up at 0530 teaching.

In certain bars the women are so pissed off with leching lebbo's they will practically throw themselves at you to get rid of them, Winner.

It obviously helps if you dont look like Ian Dowie too, You dont need to be Brad Pitt but Dowie is going to struggle in all areas.............

There was always plenty of people and to be fair I didn't go to many parties or BBQ's at people's houses, I always went out. One thing to remember though, Its not cheap with an average night out costing you about QR1000, especially if like me you like to get smashed and hit the Jager train.............
