Confirmed.
Saudi is very much what you make it. Put in the effort and it'll be a half decent time. Sit back and wait to be entertained, and you'll fail.

I have a Polish Cabin Crew friend (Blonde, blue eyed pretty girl) who changed from Saudi to Etihad. She is adamant she prefers life in Saudi. So much so her twin sister had the choice of Etihad or Saudi and she moved to Saudi.
I can't comment on a personal note as I have never lived there, or want to.

Andy
Head to the nearest mosque and express an interest in conversion. You will never be lonely again !

I will leave the term "reversion" to those who have listened to the followers of Abdul Wahab ! The only people I ever heard using the expression were crazed and bearded Anericans who had taken to the Wahabi form of the faith.
For those unfamiliar with the hairsplitting of the Bearded Ones, they claim that Islam is the true and original state of all beings and when a man or woman accepts the religion he is "reverting" to the natural state.
My post was meant in jest and I would not seriously recommend it. With few exceptions the converts I met in KSA were barking mad.
