Re: Hi Everyone Part 2
sorry about the other day..
I seem to have pissed off everyone
It wasn't my intention, I guess I took things a bit too seriously.
Anyways, here's the deal. I'm being offered $85k, which includes family flight,
health insurance comes out of that, and no other benefits.
Does that sound like a decent amount for a family with two toddlers??

I was being ironic. Given the direction my first post took! I'm very happily married, not extras needed, or infact desired.

Hi Steve,
It is not worth it - AED 26,000 a month. Over half of it will go on rent alone. When your kids start nursery/kindergarten another chunk will be taken.
Unless you haven't got a job currently, then no. Push it to $120,000. If you want pm me details, I can find out more about the company and whether you're being taken for a ride, or whether it is the market rate you're being paid.

how many family flights? and your health comes out of that? you might as well not bother, especially with kids, unless you want to live broke or in a dump, and why would anyone want to go aboard to live worse off.

85K basic, plus housing, school, medi care, annual flights, not great but doable IMHO.
