I have a friend I am very concerned about because she is applying for a nursing position in Qatar with Hamad Medical Corporation through recruiters Reynaldo Rey Recruitment Professional. She only has experience of working overseas in Australia and I'm worried that she'll get herself into a sticky situation through naivety. She's from Papua New Guinea.

I know this is not EFL but I just wondered if anyone in Doha had any info at all about this place and/or recruiter at all because I know that perhaps many recruiters will hire for a wide range of fields including EFL (my contractor in Saudi for example specialises in civil engineering despite me being employed in EFL).

I'm worried about her getting tied up in the usual mess because she's from a developing nation and stands a good chance of getting picked by someone who might well hold her captive in appalling working conditions.

I've searched the forums here but there's been no questions posted since 2012 and no answers at all
