Etisalat in Qatar?

I'll be in Qatar next week... does anyone know for sure whether UAE mobile phones are still permitted to operate there (Etisalat in my case) - phone and data? Or does the ongoing UAE embargo also include these?

If you use your Etisalat phone in Qatar they will arrest you immediately and take you to jail, where you will be sodomised by random people for at least 2 weeks before being deported after signing a document that they really should keep the world cup!!!
