Grace, wtf is that all about?
You seem to like stiring up and causing trouble
If you couldn't see that Larnie's thread was not a piece of self serving bollox then I despair.
The al ain thread is great and all non al ain people leave it alone...
But a living in dubai thread....
Funnily enough, larnie is not breaking any new ground there....its all been covered before
So I'm not being nasty, just tired of the same old crap being spewed out by bored 'expats" who think they know it all.
Chur chur....I mean...we know Kiwi's are at the bottom of the food chain along with the welsh, but give me a break...

Opposite the Lulu's which you pass on the way to Al Ain Mall going from the
' Clock' intersection, there is a lighting shop, seems to be an illuminated football match going on on the roof......close by is Technical Scissors. They seem to produce a decent, speedy bit of tailoring.

Delusional disorder is a psychiatric diagnosis denoting a psychotic mental disorder that is characterized by holding one or more non-bizarre delusions in the absence of any other significant psychopathology. Non-bizarre delusions are fixed beliefs that are certainly and definitely false
The following can indicate a delusion:
The patient expresses an idea or belief with unusual persistence or force.
That idea appears to exert an undue influence on her life, and the way of life is often altered to an inexplicable extent.
Despite her profound conviction, there is often a quality of secretiveness or suspicion when the patient is questioned about it.
The individual tends to be humorless and oversensitive, especially about the belief.
There is a quality of centrality: no matter how unlikely it is that these strange things are happening to her, the patient accepts them relatively unquestioningly.
An attempt to contradict the belief is likely to arouse an inappropriately strong emotional reaction, often with irritability and hostility.
The patient is emotionally over-invested in the idea and it overwhelms other elements of her psyche.
The delusion, if acted out, often leads to behaviors which are abnormal and/or out of character, although perhaps understandable in the light of the delusional beliefs.
Recognise yourself?!
