Default Cost effective way of moving things to Abu Dhabi

Hello All

I am planning on relocating to Abu Dhabi, just wanted to ask as to what is the best way of moving furniture to Abu Dhabi, I basically have some electrical such as PC Monitors, TV and Home Theatre systems. Along with clothes and other belongings.

Amy reliable logistics company also helps. Does transportation by ship a bit cheaper?

Thanks

Jag

Depends on quantity of furniture and also whether its worth paying to ship electricals etc, many people buy new TV's and appliances etc.

Perhaps get in touch with some relo companies in the UK who will assess the volume and quote you. Crown and Pickfords spring to mind, like many things if you cut corners to cut cost with a relo you are exposing yourself to many potential issues.

Hi

Thanks for the response. I got a quote from ALS World movers for £690 and it is 10 boxes or 50Cu ft. I think its a decent price. Hopefully this should be fine. Any thoughts please?

Thanks

Did they tell you how long it will take to arrive? With the current Red Sea security issues, shipments are taking quite a long time to get here from Europe
