Re: AD Utility Prices
looking at the bill think we pay 23 per kw for electricity and 3.5 for water
but then they add a surcharge of 6.5 electricity and 0.6 for water.
Emiratis pay less
lets see if they follow suit and hit us with an increase.

Re: AD Utility Prices
My AD water bill, in a villa, is typically less than AED10 per month, so though that is a large % increase, in real money it still won't be much.
Electricity is normally my main utility cost. Fortunately the % increase for electricity is a lot less. Still, it will be measurable...

Re: AD Utility Prices
my bills average 250.00 AED p/month since February, that's with the wife and kids at home most of the time and the A/C running. Not a biggie.

Re: AD Utility Prices
500AED per month water and electricity total (averaged out over last year), for 4BR villa, family of 4. Every year so far (3 full years and a bit) the total has dropped, which I assume indicates we've acclimatised and no longer use the aircon as much... Winter totals barely get over AED100 per month.
