Port St Lucie, FLA
Are there any other Brits in the area?
The wife and I have been here for nearly 2 weeks, are in the process of buying a place and everything is going well.
Just wondered if there were any other British people around here?

It's not been going much above or below the upper 60's recently so nice enough.

Southy_swfc the weather is really comfortable at the moment isn't it! I am surprised by the amount of English people there seems to be dotted around this area. I've met a few in my area already. Have you met many UKers?

Its less than comfortable here today, we've even had to put the heating on for the first time since we got here.
I've only met one other English person, the one who stopped me at Jensen Beach. There's a Scottish guy who works at Publix in Tradition but I haven't spoken to him.

I met 2 nice English people at Home Depot on Gatlin today. Other than helping them with mop boards we didn't really say much.

Well I'm back at Fort Lauderdsle waiting to fly to London Gatwick. The more time I spend in PSL the less I want to go back to UK. Have to meet next time I'm out.

Hi all,
We have just purchased our property in PSL, not moving there just yet, will just be holidaying there for a while (I know, it's Vacation but....) Mentally we have been in Florida for a number of years. Are there any Expats in PSL / Stuart / Fort Pierce area?
would be great to know how many Expats there are either permanent residents or visitors with homes.
