The very last day I remember snow so late in the season was May 20th, 2002. The snow didn't stick - just flurries. The reason I remember so well is because May 20th is my birthday!!! I've seen 6 inches and more in April - in fact I remember we've had several White Easters!! Not last year though - Easter was beautiful. When the weather gets better, all of us Brits should meet up somewhere for a drink.

I think they contacted me once about a Brit might they do next to where I work. Sounded good until I saw it coat $75+ and had a cash bar.

I went about a year ago. It was very quiet and the guy said they don't have many members now. It felt kind of like an English Working Mens Club with a stage and big dance floor. A bit run down which is a real shame but I seem to remember the fish and chips being pretty good. I have a flyer somewhere, I'll dig it out and scan it.

I'm a Lodoner who used to live in the heart of New York when my friends introduced me to an English girl who lived in Mentor OH. So I moved here and married her. Been in OHIO for7 years now. I go back to Britain often to look after stuff and bring back supplies of Marmite and tea.
