Default Brits in Long Island

My husband and I will be moving to Long Island in another few months. I'm from the area, but he is not and is quite concerned about meeting people, missing home, etc. Would be great to know people in similar situations!

Hello, we (my daughter, son-in-law, their 3 children and I) are also in Long Island (Syosset). Which part of LI will you be moving to?

I'm British living in Port Jefferson, Long Island with my American wife and 2 children (girl who's almost 4, and boy who's 7 weeks)

Weve been in the States for almost 3 years and looking to meet up with other Brits in the area. Drop me a line if you're close by

Hi, I moved to Glen Cove in Long Island in Dec '11. I am married and interested to see who is around the area from the UK to get in touch with. I'm 27yo male I have an English friend living in the city but would like to get to know more people!

I am a 25 year-old American, who lived in London for a few years; my husband is 27 and British. We moved to Long Island in December 2011 and are currently living in Jericho. It would be great to meet with other people in similar situations. My husband particularly misses football and going around to the pub!

Hi. Are you on Facebook? Add me at facebook.com/nick.duckworth

I'm British (born in Wales, grew up in Manchester) we live in Port Jefferson and have done for about 2 years. I'm thinking of starting up a "Long Island Brits" facebook group if you're interested to join.
