Hey, there is quite a few expats who live in NC on this board.

Not too sure about up in the Winston/Greensboro area, but British Club of Charlotte do a bonfire each year in November - although I think it is hosted south of the border!

Thanks, Tom! I used to live in Charlotte too. So maybe we can meet up with some NC folks too at some point. A bonfire... sounds lovely, even though a SC trip is... a pretty long trek from up here in the boon docks.

Do they do any other events throughout the year? We may have to check them out. Charlotte is only an hour down the road from us.

I dropped them an email and unfortunately not so much anymore.

There is a Facebook page for "UK Expats in Charlotte, NC" which has quite a lot of members.

Just moved to Winston-Salem from Leighton Buzzard, but grew up near St Helens. Would be great to meet up with some of you once settled in the area etc. Still finding my feet right now :)
