I mean that Dubai has just ****ed people over royally....Now when newcomers come in, they really shouldnt look at their neighbour from the UK who has an X5 or a Cayenne etc.
He probably been here for 5-10 years, pays half the rent (well his company pays), paid for the car in cash (with an allowance from the company), and has no debts at all.
given that, you can hardly blame people for falling into the 'paved with gold' trap

no, i wasnt meaning they were twits, i mean that it isnt 'abnormal' to come here, get a 4x4 or 2, do the brunch scene for a year. Christ before we were married with kid, there was not a friday that we didnt spend on a brunch.

I agree with you 100%, but the people who were there today were normal working people, no airs and graces and no flash cars etc. Just regular people who have been well and truly shafted.

another meeting has been schedule for Sunday 19th of April, 9.30 am at the Lakes Club. Kershaw Leonards will be in attendance to offer advice on interview technique etc and of course Meow for the financial stuff. Anyone know a Lawyer who might be willing to help out?
