Re: Job offer in Qatar. Please help.
Hi,
I received and sign an employment offer in Qatar in a scaffolding company last April 2017. It was last 2 months ago and until now I am waiting for the update with regards to my visa. Can anybody help me please, if it is normal in Qatar not to update an employee in the visa process and they never ask me with a copy of my passport yet? When I call the HR in that company last month, He told me that it will take at least one month. I am so confused why, they don't reply to my email when I tried to ask with my status. And, is there any accommodation there that is good for 1k QAR one bedroom already? Thank you. I hope you can help me. I really need information.

They asked for your payslip so they could make you a lowball offer.
DXBtoDOH is in my view correct - net pay equal but tax-free = don't go. You are going to take a significant lifestyle hit and that's before taking into account the UAE and Bahrain are now off-limits.
