Take it she won't be coming to the quiz nite then...

TBH, your 'DH' (FFS, why do I think I just posted on EW!!!) will probably prefer talking to some down to earth folk, unlike the prima donna 'expats' you seem to think reside over here...

Thursday night ain't the best night as it's equiv to your Friday night so really you are only getting the sad peoples' responses....I'm presently in the UK and away from my beloved Abu Dhabi.....so I'm not quite as sad
Oii! Cheeky mare. I'm not a sad people, well maybe sometimes, like Thursdays or some Tuesdays but mostly on Wednesday I like life...a bit, well the bit between my toes but only after I've had a shower cause otherwise...well you don't want to go there, or maybe you do.

Oh, and says the sad person who posts here on a Thursday night while being in the UK. Hmm, hmmm, hmmm?

Please listen to our Queen Eva... if you've lurked for a while you will have noticed this bored can get a bit testy (in all senses).

We all will help, but there can be some not so nice comments thrown too. Don't take these to heart. Shrug them off and get out what you need / want.

One thing - there is no expat love automatically dished out on arrival in Dubai, there is some here to be found on BE but you will need to navigate to find it...

Good luck and stick with us, just remember it is not personal (usually and if it is we'll try to stop it)

Prima Donna expats??? exactly what decade ARE you living in??? The use of 'DH' is purely abbreviation! If you dont have any good advice then please crawl back into the corner of your beer glass and do us all a favour! I had asked a simple question expecting a simple answer not a simple poster!

Ohhh... That hurt....

Thankfully, I have developed the thicker skin...

But, back on topic.. You are looking for assistance..

May I ask whether your current passport has ever been sullied with an entry stamp, or has your wordly travelling been restricted to Club 18-30 or Monarch charters...?

thank you hun! nice to know! I won't take it to heart dont worry - my skin is a little thicker than them guys!!!! LOL!

As for the CV - well as it is its gone off anyway - so original question is null and void - so if the 2 wish to continue their heirarchy rant they can continue without me! LOL!

Thankyou to the guys on here who have given us good advice - much appriciated!
