Does anyone know the pay difference between Investment Manager and Portfolio Manager?

Unless you are offered a job there after the interview process, i wouldn't sweat it.

Hi Papayamm -

Congrats on the offer. I applied for a position at ADIA. I'm still in the beginning stages of the process, but I'm wondering if you can give me some insight on how long the process took for you. Also, how were the interviews? Were the difficult and did you have to take the aptitude exam? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I would take a guess that Investment Manager is a higher salary than Portfolio Manager. It'll also be a more interesting job - I mean, who wants a job deal with all the shit that the investment guys create.

A Portfolio role in ADIA sounds like a path to a hiding - if an investment does well the Investment Manager will take the credit, if it goes south the Portfolio Manager will get blamed... but then again, you know that... don't you?

Oh, but actually in ADIA, the ranking is Associate - Investment Manager - Portfolio Manaager - Senior Portfolio Manager (Head of certain region) - Global Head....
