Waiver I-601
Hi. My wife and I already filed the waiver I-601 in July. We didn't have a goog lawyer so we weren't even aware that we had to file one untill after my very short interview.
So, we rushed a letter, filled the form and just filed.
They told us it would take at least 18 months.
Does anyone know if there is a way to make this go a little bit faster(maybe just less than a year, so I dont have to pay all the fees again) and if everytime you apply for a waiver you need to put a lot of evidence for them aprove you. I had an overstay that will end up being shorter than this whole proceeding.
Also, anyone know a good lawyer site?

Where are you based then ? I filed in London and got a yes in 7 weeks.

Every post is different. It really helps if there is a DHS office in the embassy.
