If there is any silver lining to this, it's that forums and threads like this can be used to inform others of the courier service's ineptitude.
I've just registered with them and, because of this thread, have chosen to collect my passport rather than have it delivered. So I'm sorry you had to go through the ordeal but thank you very much for posting about it.
