Is the Varicella jab required at London Medical
On the Wiki DCF London page it reads,
'Varicella (chickenpox) will be waived (whether you’ve caught chickenpox or not) as the vaccine is unavailable in the UK.'
On the vaccine_chart.pdf located on the the London Embassy page it says it is required and on the Knightsbridge price page it says Varicella is not available in the UK.
Just need to know for sure if its required or not as IT IS available in the UK, its a two jab process and we don't want to waste £120!!!!!!!
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Andy!
This recent thread has some interesting information regarding the chickenpox vaccine: http://britishexpats.com/forum/usa-5...nation-895598/
Have you had chickenpox?
Twinkle0927's comments at the end of the thread are very useful. She says that if you're moving to the USA on a spouse visa and won't be adjusting status when you get there (i.e. on a CR-1 visa, which I understand is what you're applying for?), that just telling the Knightsbridge doctor that you've had chickenpox will suffice (if you've actually had it, of course!). She says the vaccinations you need are MMR, Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) and flu vaccine if emigrating during flu season.
I am keen to know more about this, if indeed there's more to know, so will follow this thread with interest.
