Vaccination Record

Re: Vaccination Record
Thank you for all of your replies, I think to avoid any potential additional costs, I will have any relevant boosters that I may need at my GP within the next few weeks (as long as I can get an appointment!).
One final note. Without trying to offend anyone, am I right in assuming that the flu jab is reserved for "older" candidates? (Notice I said older, not old! ). I always thought it was for the over 50's? (Which is by no means old, just older than me! ). Will I also need this? I can get it at work next week if necessary.

Re: Vaccination Record
The Center for Disease Control recommends that everyone 6 months of age and older gets a flu shot here and it is a requirement for immigration.

My grandchildren receive the flu vaccination yearly and they are all under the age of 12.

Re: Vaccination Record
Just to add, I'm 26. So not too old yet!
I have a heart condition, so I've always been advised to get one.
The one year I didn't have one, I ended up with a nasty bout of Pneumonia. Could be a coincidence, but I won't be taking that chance again!

Re: Vaccination Record
No-one, including the doctor at the London medical, would give me a Tetanus booster despite being long 'overdue' for one, apparently once you've had x amount of the boosters they consider you as having had enough for life. (Multiple unplanned trips to A&E accounting for the excessive number of boosters, not excessive years to my name - one day I'll hit 50 if I'm lucky!)

Re: Vaccination Record
Can anyone point me in the direction of a definitive list for required vaccinations for an IR1 visa please? I thought I had a link saved, but it's disappeared!
Thank you.
Thank you.
