Ready to file I-130 and 1-485?

Re: Ready to file I-130 and 1-485?
Got the RFE in the post. They want my tax return as I'm a household member on the i864 and they also want a letter from my wife's employer with details of her starting date, salary and pay stubs as her current salary is more than her tax return because she has a new job.
I thought they wouldn't worry about her income seeing as my salary is being used as household income but turns out they do. Fortunately these things are easy to provide so will turn it around on Tuesday.

Sounds like it won't be too troublesome to provide that information. Hopefully it's straightforward after this as I'm about to go through the same process as you so keen to see how your case progresses. Good luck.

Can I just confirm, Do you send pack 1 off and wait for a reply then send pack 2 off?

You file them concurrently. I put them in separate envelopes and then put those two envelopes in a single Fedex pack.

Thanks English88. I have downloaded all the forms and instructions and read through each of the instruction books yesterday. Digested last night. Reading again tomorrow and plan to start filling out all the forms. I have booked my immigration medical for 2 weeks time also so hoping to then submit everything mid-june. I just wasn't sure if I had to file them separately and wait for the result of pack 1. Sorry to hi-jack your thread.

That's fine, feel free to ask any questions you like as I've recently gone through the same thing.
I returned my RFE today so hopefully receive EAD fairly soon.

That's interesting... I'm about to send my i130 and i485 (and associated forms) and now I'm wondering if I should include my tax returns too as I'm a household member but am only using my husbands income as we don't need mine.
Surely it wouldn't hurt to include it?

They're not your forms. The I-130 is submitted by the USC, and the I-485 is submitted by the alien spouse.
Don't.
Don't send anything that isn't specifically asked for.

You know more than me so fair enough but they (instructions) didn't specifically ask for mine either but I still ended up having to send it as part of an initial evidence reply.
