In addition, he will need a G-325A completed by him, a G-325A completed by you, and a statement of intent with original signatures from both of you. He will have to prove his US citizenship. This is all explained in the instructions for the I-129F.
If your children are accompanying you on K2's, then you will most likely need to provide information on them. Our case did not involve children, so I can't guide you there, but I'm sure the I-129F instructions will explain what needs to be done for any children accompanying you.
If your fiance is still confused, after reading everything, he should have a 1-time consultation with an immigration attorney who can explain the process face-to-face. That really helps. That's what I did. He doesn't have to hire the attorney if he doesn't want to, it's just to get him started on the right foot.
Best Wishes,
Rene

to be sure to put there name and alien registration number in the box.
where do i get this number from??
and wot kind of thing do we put in this statement of intent? is it
just a letter sayin that we want to marry or do we have to show some
kind of plans for where??

Re: petition for k-1
I just filed a petition recently, and our lawyer had us each write a short letter including how we originall met (online), when we have met in person, some mildly "mushy" stuff about how we felt about each other, and then stating that we intended to marry within 90 days of his lawful entry to the U.S. with a fiance visa.

thankyou so much for your help, i really appreciate it.
ive just sent letters through my solicitor to the fathers of my
children to get consent to take them out of the country and they have
both agreed to sign them for us. i feel so relieved that people are
taking this seriously as my future husband and i met through the
internet and we are both a little concerned that the embassy may not
think that we are as serious about each other as we are.
would love to hear how ur visa progresses and what obstacles i/we may
encounter.
again thankyou and hope to hear from you again.

We met throught the internet too. Lots of people do these days, we were told that immigration is very used to that. It is (with rare exception) a requirement that you have met in person, I believe within the last two years, which is why I believe Ray inquired.

i have flown over to germany on a few occassions on my own and for 3

he will b returning to the states on the 20th march and i intend on
spendin every wkend between now and then with him in germany.
we will b arranging all the paperwork for him to hand in as soon as he
arrives back. only thing is he will have to use his mothers address
for him and also put it down as the address where me and the children
will live as he wont have time to sort anywhere straight away. he will
obviously change the address during the visa process. does this slow

could take quite a while for it all to go through anyhow!!

Re: petition for k-1
Hi Sam,
I just filed the I-129F the end of January. We had an attorney prepare it - it really isn't that complicated though. If you need it, I probably have the list of stuff we included, althought I'm sure the resources Rene gave you show the same thing.
One thing we were told to include - we had pictures of us together taken by friends, and had the friend who took the pictures sign and date the back, and state that they took the picture and where.
Thank goodness for messengers and webcams - yahoo, msn, aim....
We do make sure to save any letters, emails, etc. Also phone bills if we have phoned each other. Since we use the messengers, which are free, there isn't a lot of evidence like phone bills, so we make sure to save what we have.

Re: petition for k-1
Oh yes, thought of another thing. We were told it was taking about 5 months to process the I-129F. Of course, everyone's could be different, but that was supposedly what the government said the average was at that time.
What part of the U.S. will you be moving to?
