Petition for Alien Relative Question

Petition for Alien Relative Question
Hello all. I am just about to start the process to move to Oregon next January. My application basics:
- Me = UK citizen
- Wife = US citizen
- Married 4.5 years
- Live in London
- Moving to USA Jan 2019
I have a handy check-list I downloaded from the London Field Office which goes through all the paperwork I need to send in (I-130, I-130A, Photos, G-1145, Payment form, Copies of passport / marriage cert).
It doesn't mention any medical records or the I-864 financial part on there. I have read a lot of threads where people are requesting summary prints from their Dr's and many more $$$ requirement questions. Should I be sending this info in even though it doesn't mention them on the list?
Grateful for any advice...
Nick.

No. The medical results will be sent directly to the embassy. You will take the I-864 package with you to the interview.

I was under the impression that Knightsbridge doctors require a medical summary from your GP, either way I paid £16 for mine as I don't want any more hold ups, personally I think it's best to be on the safe side.

Thanks for clearing that up - appreciate it.
Another quick one...If I apply next month (and my emigration date is 22 Jan 2019) am I applying too early? The process in my case should be fairly straightforward I would think (never done drugs / always kind to animals etc).

The visa expires six months from the medical date, not the interview date. You can slow things down by not having your medical right away, you can delay up to a year. No reason not to go ahead and start the process now.

Also, the current administration has strongly indicated that it is adverse to family unity for immigration. Also, immigrants are considered a severe threat to the security of the United States. There is a perceived need for extreme vetting.
The immigration bar has noted slippage in processing times.

Predicting time frames may be difficult here on in. The budget of the consular service has been slashed, there is a hiring freeze and number of personnel is shrinking by attrition. Also, there is a long-standing practice of hiring consular spouses which has been proposed for elimination.
