Default permission to work based on marriage with green card holder

I have GC almost one year. I love my girlfriend. She has tourist visa
for 10 years. Any time she comes to US she can stay here only for 6
months and leaves US for 2 months. We want to get married. We live in
Nevada at the moment. How long does it take to get permition to work
for my future spouse after we get marriage? What forms we should fill
in?

It may be a good few years before you will be able to get her a visa
may be quicker to wait until you have your citizenship and she be then be able to get an immediate visa

Well, YOU live in Nevada, but SHE doesn't. She lives in another country. It's important not to be confused about that.

After you get married, you will fill in an I-130 for your wife to get an immigrant visa. However, since you only have PR status (as opposed to citizenship), the waiting time for her visa is several years. Once you become a citizen, her priority date will become current and move more quickly. In the meantime, she can still come and visit you, but she won't be able to work.

The only way she'll be able to work is if she qualifies for her own work visa.

Best Wishes,
Rene
