Panic! Forgot to send 221g form with documents

Panic! Forgot to send 221g form with documents
Hi all,
I got asked to send additional documents for my immigration visa and I forgot to attached the blue 221g form with the documents. Do I still need to send this in and will it affect the review of my documents therefore delay it even further? I assume they will now its for me as the courier cover sheet has my case details and the visa status shows an updated date after they received the documents.
Any knowledge would be of great help!

If they want it, they'll ask for it.
It may... it may not.
Do not send anything else until such time as they ask for it. They aren't expecting further communication at this point in time... so there's no guarantee that it'll get to the right person. If they want it, they'll ask for it.
